Hey all. Sorry it's been so long since I last wrote, but things have been absolutely nuts lately! I spent a week in Arkansas/Oklahoma with my family; grandpa had 4 surgeries over the past couple of weeks, and I just needed to be there for part of it. But the good news is that he's doing fantastic now! The doctor is really pleased with how he came through, and I am glad I was there. Even though we got iced/snowed into my aunt's house for three days. That was super fun. :)
And other good news: I lost 2 more pounds. I don't completely understand that since I didn't exercise while I was gone. But I'm back on track here. Instead of wogging this morning (it was rainy) I did some salsa dancing with a DVD in my living room. It's another reason I'm glad I live alone.
So how are you guys doing? I'd like to welcome some new followers from Georgia! Hey guys. Where are your blogs? It strikes me that I have followers that don't know each other so here's a brief rundown:
Heidi--sweet lady from Vicksburg, Mississippi. A great Cursillo pal!
Lauren--my cousin. Known her all her life. Hails from New Mexico
Paul--my college religion professor located in Arkansas
Melissa--we went to junior high & high school together in the Fort. Lots of stories there!
Tommy--a member of my McComb family :)
Jamison, Will, and Jon--some of my favorite guys from Georgia! Have you guys set up your blogs yet? Send me links!
I think that's it for now! Hope everyone's doing well. I look forward to your comments.
PS--Heidi, I need your address for a special Vday surprise!
Everybody have a great day!

Hey! Congrats on loosing the 2lbs! I stopped running, myself, for the past 2 weeks because I had hurt my knee - overpronation, maybe? My knee was popping, so I took that as a sign to take a break. I hope to get back into running, next week! I was also doing zumba, but the twisting was hurting my knee, too. I then decided it was my fault for not stretching enough, so back to yoga I go!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog but I do use Twitter incessantly! www.twitter.com/nguyener0127 - it's my version of a mini blog!
I'm glad to hear that your grandpa is doing much better! Good luck in getting back into wogging! I love wogging!
Glad to hear your grandfather is doing well!
ReplyDeleteI had to look back and see "wot a wogger is"! (it's a walker/jogger, to maybe save some readers some trouble!) I'm kinda one of those myself at times.
With the fitness center closed down, I don't get to swim nearly as much as I used to, but I heard the pool will be open again soon! In the meantime, I'm using the Christmas gift I got of 40 trips to the Brookhaven indoor pool. I've only gone once so far, because it's kinda hard to make it up there! It's a saltwater pool--supposed to be good for you--I forgot exactly why--I'll have to look it up again!
I went hiking yesterday at Fontainebleau S.P. in Mandeville. It was pretty wet and quite cold. I had to leave the group early to make it to my photo shoot in NOLA, so I "wogged" for thirty minutes through the hiking trail back to my car, dodging and skipping over the mud puddles, not really a smart idea taking such a risk with my camera around my neck!
